Saint Teresa of Calcutta. People are often unreasonable and self-centered, forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives,be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you,be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous, be happy anyway. The good we do today maybe forgotten tomorrow. Be good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough, give your best anyway.   For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It is never between you and them anyway.

Short term loss is sometimes necessary for long-term gain, as a student studying, or an athlete training, can testify. When have you found that denying yourself proved to be worthwhile because of what you gained afterwards.

Jesus was teaching his followers that the path of discipleship would involve pain and suffering. Peter would have none of it.   When have you found that taking up your cross brought you life, even though at the time it may have been difficult.

Jesus knew that because his good news message was not acceptable to the authorities he would suffer and die. In spite of this he trusted that the power of God would overcome evil. Have you seen a good news message survive even though opponents tried to stifle it. Jesus promised that those who suffer for the kingdom would be rewarded.  John Byrne OSA

The other day I got feedback from USA about your program. A young man who was reluctant to go to Confession was touched and he felt the examples you used to explain the reasons were very convincing. He said, he is going to go to Confession soon. Praise the Lord! What a beautiful result!! I am sure, there are many who has felt that inspiration and will be many more.

The Sacrament of Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we arefreed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, areincorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word CCC 1213

Baptism is the first of the seven sacraments and one of the three sacraments of Initiation, which are Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist. For this reason, we celebrate this sacrament in the entry way of the Church in order to signify that this Sacrament of Baptism is the Door of the Church. Baptism is a living encounter with Christ, which informs the entire existence of the baptised, imparting divine life and calling for sincere conversion. Pope Benedict XV

If you wish to have your child/children baptised in the parish of Macroom you might contact one of the clergy for further details. An application form must also be filled out; these forms can be obtained from the sacristy.

Holy Communion : For those receiving Holy Communion at mass who are gluten intolerant, the Chalice is available on a table to the left of the sanctuary in St Colmans Church and gluten free hosts are available from the Eucharistic Minister at the back of the church in St John the Baptist Church, Caum.

Born in 1883, replica hermes is the second child of a poor French unmarried couple. Her father is a groceries from Mount Ceven, and her mother is a shepherd in the Auvergne Mountains. It is said that replica bags uk was born in Saumur, France; another saying was born in Auvergne, in the mountains of southern France. In fact, the legends about replica bags have always been diverse, and Chanel's death to avoid and cover up, even more cast a fog on her birth. Chanel's childhood is unfortunate. When her mother died at the age of twelve, her father left her and four brothers and sisters. Since then, she has been raised by fake bags and entered the Convent School as a child, where she learned a needlework technique.
